Privacy and Personal Data Protection

Privacy and personal data protection are a priority for NTREVENTS, Unipessoal LDA, and therefore, we have drafted this document to earnestly comply with the current national and EU legislation (General Data Protection Regulation EU_2016-679 and Law No. 58/2019 of August 8th).

The personal data provided to us during interaction with various websites and services will be processed with the security and confidentiality guarantees required by the legal framework regarding personal data protection.

The portals and websites under the responsibility of NTREVENTS, Unipessoal LDA, within the scope of the services provided, contain links to other sites under the responsibility of third-party entities. NTREVENTS, Unipessoal LDA's privacy policy applies exclusively to the sites under its responsibility. When accessing sites of other entities, even from sites under the responsibility of NTREVENTS, Unipessoal LDA, you should read their respective privacy policies.

Accessing and using the services and sites under the responsibility of NTREVENTS, Unipessoal LDA, should be freely done by the user, presuming that they have read, understood, and accepted the Terms and Conditions of their use.

Any attempts to alter information, or any other actions that may cause harm and jeopardize the integrity of the system, are strictly prohibited according to current legislation. The user undertakes to strictly comply with applicable law, particularly in the areas of cybercrime and intellectual property rights, being solely responsible for any infringement of these regulations.

Data Protection Entity and Data Protection Officer
The data controller is NTREVENTS, Unipessoal LDA, with VAT number 516265342, having appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted via email at dpo@ntrevents.pt.

Data Processing
The processing of personal data is carried out by NTREVENTS, Unipessoal LDA, for the following purposes:
a) In the context of contracts with participants in sports, cultural, social, or leisure events, according to the company's purpose;
b) In the context of contracts established with internal and external collaborators and representatives of institutions, partners, and suppliers;
c) Expression of free consent from candidates and subscribers to communications such as newsletters;
d) Compliance with legal obligations to which NTREVENTS, Unipessoal LDA, is subject.

The personal data processed by NTREVENTS, Unipessoal LDA, are of various kinds depending on the type of service provided, such as name, date of birth, tax identification number, civil identification number, address, email address, mobile number, or other data such as location, performance, or health.

When data processing is carried out by third-party processors, NTREVENTS, Unipessoal LDA, qualifies them to obtain sufficient guarantees to ensure that the processing meets the requirements of the GDPR and ensures the defense of the rights of the data subjects.

Personal data will be destroyed as soon as its legality and purpose end or whenever requested by its owner via email to dpo@ntrevents.pt with the subject "Remove."

Rights of Data Subjects
As the data subject, you have the following rights:
a) Right to confirmation of whether your data is being processed and, if so, to access your personal data and access the information provided by law;
b) Right to request NTREVENTS, Unipessoal LDA, to correct inaccurate or incomplete data concerning you;
c) Right to erasure of your data when applicable, namely in the following situations:
- Personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed;
- You withdraw your consent to data processing (where processing is based on consent) and there is no other legal basis for such processing;
- You object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing.
d) Right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data when:
- You contest the accuracy of the data, for a period allowing NTREVENTS, Unipessoal Lda to verify its accuracy;
- Data processing is lawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of personal data and requests the restriction of its use instead;
- NTREVENTS, Unipessoal Lda no longer needs the personal data for processing purposes, but they are required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
- If processing depends on your consent, you have the right to withdraw it.
e) Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in Portugal is the National Data Protection Commission (https://www.cnpd.pt/). If you wish to exercise your rights, you should contact us in writing via email at dpo@ntrevents.pt. To ensure your protection, proof of your identity may be requested.
